Galapagos Cruise

An Adventure Tour in Nature's Paradise
Year Round Dates Now Available!

Our Galapagos Cruise is a fabulous adventure, following the footsteps of Charles Darwin through this magical archipelago. Get up close with a blue footed booby doing its courtship dance, come eye to eye with an albatross on its nest, snorkel with playful sea lions, watch tiny penguins zip by, swim peacefully with turtles, observe giant tortoises at close quarters – these are just some of the amazing wildlife encounters awaiting you.

A Galapagos adventure is one of life’s most magical experiences, which we enhance with personal touches and the attention to details for which we are renowned. We include three nights in Quito, staying in the heart of the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy a fascinating walking tour to its historic sites and beautiful plazas.

Our Galapagos tours are now available year round, and we can accommodate a group as small as one person! We work with two beautiful boats, both of the highest standard, and each taking a maximum of sixteen guests. The crews are highly experienced and have your safety as their priority. Each boat has wonderful itineraries taking to you our favourite spots in the Galapagos, and our onboard naturalists provide a wealth of information about these unique islands.

For your personalized Galapagos tour, just let us know when you want to go and how many are in your party, and we will do the rest.

"You walk among clattering four-foot marine iguanas heaped on the shore... You swim with penguins; you watch flightless cormorants dance beside you, ignoring you, waving the black nubs of their useless wings…The animals have not been persecuted, and show no fear of man. You pass among them as though you were wind, spindrift, sunlight, leaves."
- Annie Dillard - Life on the Rocks: the Galapagos

Adventure Travel has been our specialty since 1991 when we started to explore the world's most spectacular places as photographers and writers. Several years (and several books) later we began sharing our experiences with others by developing and leading adventure tours. We founded Hidden Places Travel in 2000 and quickly became renowned for our unique, off-the-beaten-track itineraries. Our support of local communities and conservation projects gives our trips unprecedented access and our loyal following of repeat guests is a testament to our professionalism and nurturing approach.

We invite you to join us on one of our life-changing adventures.
